It is SO very expensive to get married these days, and I thought I might start this Blog off with a bit of good news. It has always been our goal to help you to keep your costs down, and we say our prices are set to be affordable. Accordingly we have not increased our prices at all due to the start of the new year.
So why do we say we are a one stop shop? We work closely with a great group of associates. From photographers to chefs, we choose really carefully whose services we align our reputation to, and test them thoroughly before we attached out flag to their flagpole.
My good friend Nigel is a great chef, and he teaches at the Catering department at a local college. I have eaten a lot of his food and believe me it is really excellent. It is no wonder he regularly cooked for our late Queen at the Guards Polo club. Recently he had a lovely party to celebrate his Silver Wedding. My wife and I were invited, and had a fantastic time. Nigel did his own catering, and the food was amazing.
For over ten years I taught at the same local college as Nigel did. While there, one of my students was Luke, who impressed with his commitment to quality, and his high quality work. Luke has taken those qualities into his own very successful Photographic business, Luke Warner photographic. His wedding pictures get really great reviews.
Are you looking for someone to take all the pressure off your shoulders for that BIG event you are planning. Our Event Organiser, Marie, is second to none. In her “proper job” she is expected to take control, and manage ever changing scenarios, in some cases, life and death situations, so making sure your event goes well is really second nature to her. One thing we, at Best-Dressed-Events have learnt doing what do is that an Event Organiser is something that is really important in making sure it all goes swimmingly. Marie will do that for you.
How about getting the party started? We have a great Dee Jay we work with. Sam and his Shuffler disco are really great at parties. People who have booked him through us speak really highly of his work. I have been to events he has played at, and I loved the way he consulted with the hosts and played just what they wanted, while filling floor with happy dancers.
